MRDA ROLLER DERBY TEAM

Find Out More

Coming soon: Ihod pt. 2

June 7th - June 9th: Midwest Sport Hockey, Ballwin, MO

Strap on your skates, because IHOD is back for a second helping! That’s right, after leaving the competition feeling battered (but never beaten), the Gatekeepers are whisking up another invitational that’s sure to be a delicious display of athleticism.

We’re excited to announce the triumphant return of our B-team, the B-Keepers! These derby warriors are ready to prove that even the B-side can bring the A-game. And let’s not forget the other incredible teams gracing the track - San Diego Aftershocks, San Diego Tremors, Denver Ground Control, Mexico City Disorder, Race City Rebels, and Casco Bay!

It’s going to be a weekend jam-packed with derby deliciousness, so lace up your states, grease up your wheels, and get ready for a competition that’s more fun than a stack of buttermilk pancakes.

Stay tuned for ticket information - this is one derby event you won’t want to miss!

History

The St. Louis GateKeepers are an open gender flat-track roller derby team based in St. Louis, Missouri.

The St. Louis GateKeepers were conceived by Scott Meyer (who skates under the name Magnum p.i.m.p.) and Evan Jones (Bat Wing) on the way from a men's roller derby bout in Sioux City. Together, they started the GateKeepers in November 2009.

The GateKeepers won the Men's Roller Derby Association World Championship in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Since the pandemic, the team has been rebuilding with a solid foundation laid in the prior years. The team will co-host Sibling Rivalry in 2023 with Arch Rival Roller Derby.
